Headcanon- Sweetie Belle

And here we have good ol' Sweetie Belle! She was the first of the CMC I finished but I uploaded her later since she was already seen colored. Of the CMC, I think her colors are my favorite. c:

Of the CMC, Sweetie Belle is the shortest; she's pretty tiny now, but she'll only grow a couple more inches before ultimately stopping an inch or two shorter than the average mare. Because of this, she's often called "Shortcake" by Apple Bloom and "Shortstack" by Babs and Scootaloo. Spike doesn't really refer to her by anything other than "Sweetie" or "Bella" or her full name. She doesn't mind any of the nicknames though, although "Shortstack" annoys her from time to time. x3

Sweetie Belle's still a little slow on the uptake at this age, but even still she remains the one who often acts as the voice of reason among the group. But she's the most sensitive, and often the one who's more easily shaken up by negative events, and as such the gang is very protective of their smaller buddy. Regardless of this, not much can stop her from being optomistic and happy.

Sweetie's cutie mark is of a pink heart with a Gclef embedded in it. The mark symbolizes Sweetie's pure affinity for music of all sorts, especially the pop and rock genre. She's fairly skilled in writing music and singing, and it's pretty easy to fall for Sweetie's charming and endearing energy when she's caught up in a song. But the mark also represents the teenager's very sweet disposition and genial nature, which makes her a very approachable pony, especially in the eyes of young foals.  

As said in the previous posts, she and the rest of the CMC have  shifted their mission to helping young foals feel more comfortable in their skin and nurturing their talents, rather than doing missions for the sheer sake of hoping to gain a cutie mark (which they finally learned doesn’t work). It’s now more of a Big Sister/Brother, Little Sister/Brother club sort of thing.
