The Mane 6

I'm getting all tuckered out by school projects, so I didn't really have time to do much art until today, and that includes commissions. But because I wanted a break from it all, I decided to go ahead and color the sketches I've done for the Mane 6.

So, this is how I see them. :3 Quite a few of these are from the Age Thingy series, but only Pinkie and Rarity aren't finished. So I guess seeing them here is a bit of a "spoiler" or something. I dunno, but whatevah. Think of it as a "Happy Anniversary, MLP!" o3o

This was a bunch of fun to do, it was. I played around with each of their designs, some changes more noticeable than others, but I really like how each of them came out. c: For those of you who are curious, here's a mini-headcanon of each of their appearances:

-Twilight Sparkle-
For those of you who watch my gallery, you may remember this version of Twilight. I simply used her since she's pretty recent and I really liked how she came out, soooo.... here she is a second time. c: For those of you who don't know, in my headcanon Twilight will eventually have her hair and wings shift in color to reflect the actual colors of the literal twilight, with a few stars here and there. She may begin putting her mane up in a ponytail too to keep it out of her face, because it's beginning to grow at a faster rate than normal. Of the Mane 6, she is the second tallest.

-Applejack-
The tallest of the Mane 6, as well as the biggest. I originally gave AJ a missing notch to her left ear, but I switched it to the right one instead. The lighter-colored "socks" have been added because my version of her father has white "stockings". The bite marks she has on her back are from fending off a wild animal from the farm, something that tends to happen often enough due to Sweet Apple Acres being close to Everfree Forest's borders.

-Rarity-
Didn't really change much to her design other than give her the classical unicorn appearance, which I think fits her very well. I absolutely love drawing her hair too. o3o

-Fluttershy-
I didn't really change much to her design other than giving her wings and tailfeathers pink tips. I think it suits her well. :3

-Rainbow Dash-
Added dark-tipped ears and rainbow-tipped wings and tailfeathers, because I figured it made enough sense. Of them all, I think her colors were the most fun.

-Pinkie Pie-
Added just a tad bit of a darker pink to the wrists of her hooves, and she has a small patch of feathers among her shoulders. This is mainly because I think a pegasus would be a grandparent to Pinkie. Infact, I have the headcanon that Surprise from G1 is Granny Pie Pinkie always talks about.
