Old Age thingy Spike (WIP)

Did an age thingy for Spike, because I don't draw him nearly as much as I should. :C Buuuuuut yeah. I'll eventually color the one on the far right, but that'll be later. I also think I'll either add him to the mane 6 one I've already uploaded, or to one with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Hmm.... what do you guys think? O:

Until then, let's get into my headcanon for a bit, neh? c:

-Unborn/unhatched:
Spike's egg before Twilight hatched it. I think that Spike's egg was found by Celestia in a remote location, abandoned by its parents. This isn't typical of dragons to leave their unhatched egg unattended, so Celestia gave the little thing a scan and quickly found out the reason behind the missing parents; the egg was completely inert, as in, it would never hatch. Because no one would come back for the little egg, Celestia decided to take it back with her, and allowed the staff of the University to use it as a test to measure the level of power and determination of each individual filly or colt who participated in the entrance exam.

-Infant: 1- 2 months:

Spike's egg only managed to hatch because Twilight literally FORCED it to. While in her magic-crazed state, she managed to use her magic to fertilize the egg, speed up the development process, and hatched the egg to reveal a fully developed and perfectly healthy hatchling who imprinted on the unicorn filly as soon as he saw her. Due to her magic manipulating the inert egg to produce a living hatchling, he gained a lavender coloring that's similar to her's.

Spike at this point is very dependent on Twilight, and refuses to be away from her for any length of time. Twilight doesn't mind though, especially since it's hard at school because of how some of the fillies and colts treat her (since she got into the school via pure skill and smarts alone, as well as becoming Celestia's personal student). She immediately feels a maternal love toward the little guy, and her time at the university isn't as lonely. This is an image of the two of them taking an adorable little nap together on perhaps a sofa. Whatever it is, it has pillows... crappily drawn pillows. B3

-Age: 5

As he grows older, Spike begins to try and help Twilight out around the tower, especially with books. I think Spike would actually be very fascinated with books and loves to read in his spare time, something he picked up from being around Twilight for so long. xD What he really likes, though, is when Twi tells him bedtime stories, especially when they're one either she makes up on her own or are some of the improvised stories her own mother told her when she was his age.

In this image it's the young Spike reading the title of a book Twilight just gave him (the stick-ish figure beside him is Twilight. I didn't feel like finishing the drawing of her here, so she remains a stick-ish figure. C:< ). Maybe he's confused, or curious, or whatever else he feels about the book, but Twi still has his rapt attention as she gives a summary of the story the book was to tell.

-Age: 9-12

Spike as I currently see him. I think he should grow a tiny bit, so here he is with that little tidbit of height to him. He's still pretty short in comparison to Twilight, but he'll get there eventually. I have the headcanon that Spike can switch between being bipedal or quadrupedal whenever he feels like it, which is why he has long arms. He'll eventually get to the point where his body begins to develop more for quadrupedal locomotion.

I'm so sleepy I can't think of the rest of the headcanon I was gonna put in. Aww well. I'll just add it tomorrow. For now, here is Spike. Thank you guys for stopping by to take a look, and as always, feel free to ask questions if you have any. c:
