'Tears staining the fur of her cheeks, running down her jaw and blending with the rain, the single wolfess followed her only companion within the lonely woods, ignoring the darkness she knew that was in her path...'

I dunno what compelled me to write that little bit, but I did... so ha. B|
My entry for 's contest. For this entry, I chose the "Alone In The Toxic Rain" catagory, only because I wanted to test my skill with the 'rain' effect....
Again, epic fail. B| However, I liked how the overall pic came out, so I went ahead and posted it up... I do know that one part of the woods are much lighter than the other. I might go back and fix it... I might not, due to the rather strange effect it has. Who knows... Depends on how I feel. :/
The strange, sewed-up, glowing butterfly is my own creation, inspired by the butterfly markings on Rayn and the fact that she looks rather cool-creepy.
Anyhow, I hope you like, Sila! ^^ --
Media: Watercolor and Colored Pencils on Bristol Vellum Time Taken: 2 hours Inspiration: Coraline soundtrack (The eerie, yet great music really helps with this type of pic)

DO NOT COPY, STEAL OR TRACE IN ANY WAY!!! Thank you. :3
*_______* That's so awesome! I really LOVE her face and the way you drew her hair. And the wiiiiings... This sewed-up butterfly is also a great idea, it fits Rayn just perfectly. Rain = NOT epic fail! You did great. Thanks for this entry!
Thank you! :3 She was really fun to draw, and I had a good time coming up with the pic. ^^ I still think the rain could be better, but if you like it, then I guess it's fine with me. C:
Nono, thank you for letting me enter the contest! ^^

"People fear the wolf, the lupine beast, only because they fear the beast within themselves..." I forget who made this quote.
Disturbing character but awesomely done, I love the markings and how that all ties in the butterfly and those legs that dont have paws, really nice style! And the rain is good! Hardly an epic fail at all! And a million times better than I could have ever done1

Lies all lies! Art is always about improvement, I still think this is pretty good rain! But then, I suck at backgrounds so maybe I'm not the best person to ask XD
