Headcanon doodle- Vinyl Scratch's Parents

All this talk of headcanon has kinda sturred my inspiration so I went ahead and doodled something very quick. So, here ya go; a tentative doodle for how I possibly see Vinyl Scratch’s parents. So for anyone who doesn’t know or haven’t read my headcanon on Vinyl’s parents, I see her having two mothers. The scruffy-lookin’ one is named Black Marble and for her, I actually used a very minor background unicorn character. Her mate is a character I came up with myself. Her name is Starfire. Black Marble loved to call her Firefly. c:

So the general story I have in mind is that Black Marble is a transmare; she and Starfire were already a couple before she began her transition. Black Marble was initially afraid to come out to her girlfriend about feeling how her assigned gender simply didn’t fit the way she felt, but when she finally did gather up the courage to do so, those fears were very quickly put to rest; Starfire confirmed that, yes, she loved the big goof with all of her being, and that she was humbled that she was the first pony Black Marble ever told.

The transition went smoothly, and soon after the two got married. They ended up having two children (biological, yes): Vintage Record, and Vinyl Scratch. They're still happily married to this day. ^.^

I’ll eventually come back and polish the headcanon up (I’ll eventually give them more refined personalities and a longer headcanon for their backstories) and I'll probably throw this into my scraps later. But yeah, that’s what I got for these two so far. :3 And as always, feel free to ask me questions if you have any. ^.^
