Given that my interwebs is down at my house, I figured now would be a good time to post this up before I have to go home. I’m really proud of this. For my Screen Design class, we had to take a fairytale and retell it in however we wanted in storyboard form. I chose the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Just as a heads-up, I’ve replaced the bears with Ursa Major/Ursa Minor, the constellation based on a bear.
I could always tell the story myself, but I figured I should let the art do the talking and only answer questions if you’re curious about it. The only hint I’ll give is to pay attention to the faces of the characters. ;D
This sucker took me 3 days to work on. I’m dead, man. ;_;
THE REVEAL AT THE END OF THE LOCKET IS SO GOOD AND THIS IS SO WELL DONE IM CRYING.
You have a brilliant knack for storytelling!
Dust OST - forget
Dust OST - melancholy
while looking at this. (Hope I got the title of the songs right)
Also is the fact the the girls eyes start getting brighter have any more significant than she's happy?
man that hurt...~
Also in the first panel I saw that there was smeared darkness around the girl. Same with the teddy bear in panel nine. Maybe I'm reading to much into this but was there meaning to that or was it just shadows?
Ahh, what the heck. It's probably just shadows.
And there's no significance to the shadows because they're literally just their shadows/snow parting as Goldie walks. BUT the atmosphere of the outdoors versus the indoors, the teddy bear, and why she left it all has significance to the story.
