Nothing at all elaborate or note-worthy. Just something I whipped up a few days ago when I was taking a break during Watercolor class.
I wanted to do something cute, so I decided to do it with Twilight Sparkle and grown-up Spike. :3

Despite the fact that they sometimes act like an older sister and younger sibling, I've always seen the relationship between Spike and Twilight like that of a mother and child. As such, I don't visualize Spike abandoning Ponyville and Twi once he's grown too big for the library. Obviously, he'd have to find someplace bigger to settle, but I can easily see him coming to visit Twi and the others quite often, and vice versa. :3
ANYWAY! This is how I see Spikey as an adult, loosely based on the adult form I've seen him take when Twi accidentally made him grow huge when she got her cutie mark (I certainly liked that one far better than the Greedy version of him). o3o Now that I look at the image as a whole, though, instead of my day-dreaming daze I had in class.... I could have done much better with the colors. :/
But hey, it's more of a watercolor doodle-sketch than anything, soooo.... meh. :I

The only complaints I have about this are its low resolution and its watermark. Other than that, it is an adorable presentation of my hopes and dreams for the future of Twilight and Spike's relationship! I like to think of Spike as being Twilight's surrogate son, so...
And they are, indeed, mother and surrogate son in this image; I sorta explained what I thought about what would happen when Spike gets big in the artist comment. xD And thanks! c:
